REHABILITATION PROJECT FOR A SECTION OF THE PRIMARY STRUCTURAL ROAD NETWORK IN THE CITY OF GAROUA: CUG Junction – Yelwa – Egrainage (Sodecoton) Junction

The rehabilitation of the road section from the Garoua City Council (CUG) Junction to the Egrainage Junction has significantly enhanced the transport of goods and passengers within the city of Garoua.

The project delivered:

• The construction of 2 km of dual-carriageway urban roads (2 x 2 lanes) using asphalt concrete;
• The upgrade and development of 3 major intersections;
• The landscaping and development of green spaces;
• The construction of secondary dual-lane access roads (2 x 2 lanes) with a total length of 700 m;
• The installation of public street lighting and traffic lights;
• The implementation of horizontal (road markings) and vertical (signs) traffic signaling.
